Announcement on organising The Fifth Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable development under Chapter 13 of the Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and the European Union (EVFTA)

In order to implement the commitments under Chapter 13 on Trade and Sustainable Development of the Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and the European Union (EVFTA), the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in its capacity as the focal point for the implementation of Chapter 13 and the Secretariat of the Viet Nam Domestic Advisory Group (DAG), plans to coordinate with the European Union (EU) to co-organise the Fifth Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable Development.

The Forum is scheduled to take place at 14:30 on 22 January 2026 (Hanoi time) in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, in a hybrid format (in-person and online).

The Ministry of Industry and Trade respectfully invites interested organisations to register to participate in the Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable Development via the following link:

Registration deadline: 13 January 2026.

Participants will be selected on the basis that their organisations’ fields of activity are directly relevant to the matters covered under Chapter 13 of the EVFTA, while also ensuring a balanced representation across economic, social, and environmental sectors.
